Marie Blunck designs explorative performances using new technologies. She has devised interactive installations and designed numerous plays with directors Yael Shavit and Camille Litalien, as well as the costumes for the UK tour of Out of Inc's Life in the Folds/Night Light.

In addition, she worked as Production Designer on independent short films by Zeb Lamb, including Self Portrait (screened at the Stratford Upon Avon International Digital Film Festival, August 2005) and SURVEY No. 257 (screened in London, March 2008).

As part of Indian Runner Production, she has co-devised and designed Trailer, which received the New Discovery Prize at the International Mime Festival 2006 in Périgueux, France and was shown at the Camden People's Theatre as part of the Tonic season.

She has collaborated with Slung Low on their recent productions Small Worlds, which was commissioned by Fuse Theatre for Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008 and Helium, which won the 2008 Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award and will be premiered at The Barbican Centre's Pit Theatre in London in September 2008.

Having studied Theatre Design at Central St. Martin's and Slade School of Art, she has gone on to be a Senior Lecturer at Central St. Martin's College of Art & Design and lectures at Wimbledon College of Art and Goldsmith's University.
