I create picture books that help children with developmental trauma and those who live with chronic conditions. Having relocated from London to rural Suffolk, I observe the close relationship between children and animals. Throughout my 25 years of work in theatre, I am particularly interested in creating interactive stories for children and young people.

As a designer and artist I have collaborated with theatre groups such as Dash Arts and Slung Low as well as the spoken word artist and author Steven Camden (Polarbear) on new works at the Barbican Centre, Roundhouse Studio, Kiln, JW3 and Battersea Arts Centre.

I designed Slung Low’s ‘Helium’, which was winner of the Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award 2008. As part of Indian Runner Productions I co-conceived ‘Trailer’, which received the New Discovery Prize at the International Mime Festival, France in 2006.

Over 13 years I taught young artists in performance and film at the University of the Arts London and Goldsmiths University.
